Ch 4 - hey, they have all of New Year's Day off for fun and games. Her second time shouldn't be as painful, now that she knows what to expect and her body is in shape. Once more into the fray, Figgy? (reader makes puppy eyes) She can always get a book and then ask him to demonstrate certain positions for her? As for "no impersonal sex" - well, I think prostitutes can argue that there IS such a thing as "impersonal sex" with clients.

PS - I totally agree that she can be book-smart and men-dumb. But she can learn from this and then get what she wants from him - a repeat performance. :=)

Ch 2 - PS - if she's a smart witch, insatiable for learning, when he finishes at midnight she'll use her wand to reset the chiming clock to - oh, say.... seven o'clock, and then they can get in more "practice"!

I agree with you. Inside the Blackest Heart had a Hermione who was VERY submissive until her powers began to fully manifest. It's more half and half with your Hermione's. I prefer one that is equal to Snape. Because I couldn't see him wanting someone that was not a match for him.
