This was a beautiful story, and very realistic. If the characters existed in real life this is 90% probably what would happen. I dont think they could ever fall in love and be happy, it would be too complicated and one would have to sacrifice for the other. They would be happy together but it wouldnt be enough. None of them would ever leave their friends and family without feeling guilt and feeling incomplete, thats why they can never be together. They would be like drugs to each other, too much and they could overdose and die.
Brilliant. :)
(Yes i know its eleven years later sice you wrote this, but better late than never ;) thats the good thing with writting. It lives on.

I really liked this....great atmosphere..and I don't really think Draco was terribly OOC considering the context and events. Good job : )

Oh. My. Lord. That was one of the best pieces I've ever read. I'm not usually one for short stories or one shots [is that one word or two?] but despite the length and all, the flow of the words just drew me in like you couldn't imagine. I could literally see the storm out the window of my mind's eye. All in all, it was an amazing piece and I'm looking forward to more in the future.
