Well worth the wait, I can understand Severus's feeling so angry with himself. Glad Hermione is there for him and will not be scared off.

Really, I don't know what you are so nervous and worried about. You wrote very sweet lemons, as the situation called for. You're writing a good story. It is well written and different from any other fic I've read ... and I read a LOT of them.

You said this is your first SS/HG? You are doing them justice. Now stop hyperventilating and write some more! I'm looking forward to the next chapters.

Your lemons, while not graphic, were tender and sensitive and beautifully written. Well done!

That was a beautifully written love scene. I thought the use of the heart as a "safe zone" was especially touching. Very nicely done!

Wonderful chapter, you keep getting better and better, if possible, with each update.

I'm really enjoying this story -- the premise, the characterization, and the gentle way in which Hermione and Snape interact -- it rings true of victims of abuse, and it also underlines the strength of their characters in being able to not only survive their ordeals, but also to still want to reach for the warmth of another, to be able to replace fear with solace. The scene of them making love is very well written and truly enjoyable.

I also appreciate your frequent updates -- it's not often that a good writer updates so frequently, and I'm eagerly waiting for more of this story.

Excellent chapter! Very well written and easy to get a mental picture of. I was able to follow their movements and interactions without thinking 'how did they get like that, when they were just...'. I am glad they are healing each other and that Severus now has good memories of a place he wasn't so fond of. I hope his back heals up soon. Can't wait for the next chapter!! Thanks for the story.

Beautifully done. Sometimes all we need is the knowledge we are safe and secure with someone. Touching does not have to equal pain and disgust. Touch can be the most healing of all the senses when the intent is to bring security, passion and love. I do believe that they are on the way to healing each other! Well done.
