Ohhhhh, what a GREAT chapter!!! Looks like Ick realizes Mommy was trying to protect her and is ready to bond with her. But I bet Hermione freaks a bit when she wakes up and realizes who is sharing her bed (other han Ick, of course;)

this was a such a great chapter. All the danger and suspence, not to mention the comedic moments.

I loved the Hermione/Vivica moment in the library. How she was thinking that she'd been reduced to bribing an infant. Not to mention how Ick was weighing the pros and cons of accepting something from the crazy lady. As to the Lamia/Hermione battle well, I was on the edge of my seat! I can just see a bloody Hermione holding up a sword doing battle with the Lamia.
