Although I like your writing style (especially in "A Maid in the Devil's Manor"), I'm not too sure about this story. I will still keep reading it because I trust that you will write another excellent story, but it's almost too dark for me. It reminds me of "Conspiracy Theory," but your depiction of Dumbledore might be accurate. Anyway, I have to say you are definitely on your way to another excellent fic. And you have an interesting and attention-grabbing plot. Your characters are very realistic, even if they are too realistic, but they are very promising characters. I look forward to the next installment!

I'm hoping that Hermione will surprise Severus with how she turns up the next day. He's underestimating her...just as Hermione has overestimated this story's Dumbledore.

Ch 14 - Hmmm, the potion master may need to watch his step with Albus but everyone had better watch their steps with Hermione. Mind you, I think Albus may have his hands full if he calls her to talk with him right now. Oh boy, I don't think she's in the mood to just listen. Geesh, if she knew where to hit the boys with drying up their polish, imagine what she could do to Dumbledore. She's got the power, she's got the power. Oh yeah.

i think that u should add one or 2 more chps on how hermione deals with the potions class the next day and u could end it with getting caught in teh dungeons on patrol again (w/o lemons tho...jsut a cliffy...) or somethign like taht

As tempting as it is, I would seriously consider stopping here. The story stands well just here and where could you take them. Surely you can come up with another story to explore Albus's interesting side.
