Voldemort's demise was both dramatic and funny; "whoops indeed." And as a general comment, I like the sardonic edge to most of the dialog. No matter what you're making your characters do, the sarcasim and general smart ass edginess seems rightly in character.

Ch 48 - Ah, Hermione is quite the crafty one and reads the Dark Lord fairly well. Too bad she wasn't more specific about what he could and wouldn't do to Snape. I have a feeling this could be a very eventful evening in more ways than one.

ch 50. Well, I HAD been worrying about what would happen to Harry if he went to Voldemort - it seemed impossible for him to actually have the meeting and survive. Oh boy, this is like having one's cake and eating it too. I look forward to Snape messing with Harry's head and making him sweat. Re: owls, I think somewhere in canon there is a description or an implication of how individuals can block being found by owls ... but, hey, even if I remember correctly, so what, this is your universe and I like it.

Oh, so sweet that Voldie killed himself thru greed for power and that Snape gets to play Voldie. Wonder if Dumbledore goes the same way.
