I haven't finished Water yet, I'm only on chapter 9 but it's beautiful. It's beautiful and tragic and everything that makes the soul bleed and weep and want to dip your fingers into it to see if its real. See if its actually there. I have never read anything this... maddeningly gut wrenching and addictive in so long. I've almost forgot the feeling of being desperate to read, to keep going.


I know this are is suppose to be for good/bad criticism and not slobbering fangirls/boys but I can't help but praise you for this.

I read the whole thing and it's a really good story -- you can obviously WRITE, but man the cussing is just really out of character and you just way overdo it. Even IF Draco and Pansy cussed a lot, I don't see why Hermione would, too. And IF she did, she probably wouldn't cuss often because educated people like Hermione would have a broader command of her language and the vocabulary to choose more appropriate words with which to express herself. At one point she even says to Draco, "Is [fuck] all you ever say?" I was asking the same thing! I analyzed the 11 chapters and found this breakdown of words and how many times you used them:

You actually use the word "fuck" five hundred and fifty-five times! That's got to break some kind of record somewhere. It is really becoming almost comical because no matter what happens, we know that everyone's going to react by saying "fuck" a lot. If you changed some of the language, the story'd be very very cool.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU'RE EVIL! What a cliff hanger! I feel like screaming "HERMIONE NOOOOOOO!". But i have to say this was one of your best chapters yet so i will let the whole Hermione-getting-beaten-up-thing slide just this once ;-) Please update soon, the suspense is already killing me lol.

Ok I do not even know what to say anymore. I just feel totally speechless. I have been reading fics on this site and others for two years and this is easily the best story ever posted. I am so in awe of your talent for writing and character development that I think you may have ruined me for other stories. I came on the site earlier this evening to check if you had updated and when I saw that you had not, I tried reading another story...it was so dull. I could not believe it had received five stars. Nothing else is five stars when compared to Water.

I honestly hope you are considering a career in writing. If it was possible for anyone other than Warner Bros. or JK Rowling to make money off of Harry Potter, I think you would be the only other eligible candidate. If you do ever have anything published, send me an email and you can be sure I will pick it up on the day of it's release.

This would be a really excellently fun story if I didn't have the sneaking suspicion that you're trying to win some contest for a fanfic with most uses of the word "fuck" in it. Overkill isn't even the word here...it's more like Tourette's now. Extremely distracting and unnecessary foul language is ruining your story, dear.

AHHHHHHH What a cliffie! I need to know what happens! Milli and Pansy - how scary. I absolutely loved how Draco got Hermione to break a little bit when they were outside. This is such an amazing story. Very surprising bit about Lucius loving Narcissa and breaking down. But I could imagine the Malfoy men being very passionate and yet, having trouble expressing their deepest feelings. It seems that love is a sickness in some cases. Draco has it so badly! Well, great stuff and you better give us another chapter soon. LOL I want to know if Draco saves her or what.

ARGH. I HATE YOU PANSY. >< Please tell me Hermione won't be raped. Draco had better save her! T_T
