Well...
To be contsructive with my comment. ^^
I just find that you seem to be over doing it. Like, you're trying to make her totally perfect in every way- Three different forms she can take, she's better than Hermione, she's better than everyone, she's smarter, she has a more tragic past, she's more powerful because she can survive a Voldemort curse, ect. And everyone likes her.
It's just, fanfictions are counted as good when a character is realistic. Are you as good as Amber? Or are you like the rest of us, you're great at some things thing and terrible at other things? You do have some people who don't like you, right?
Fanfiction sometimes ends up being the writer's fantasy of what they WANT for themselves, not what they think would be cool for the characters to experiance. I'm not saying that Amber shouldn't exist in the story! But you seem to put her on a pedistal above everyone else, and even Hermione is affected. She's now as crap at potions as Neville.
How did she not die? And if she didn't die, she'd be as famous as Harry Potter. If it was the same spell as Harry's spell from his mother, it would have rebounded off her and back onto Voldemort, turning him back into what he originally was.
And oh my gosh, what have you done to Hermione? She's now as bad at potions as Neville?
You should write more! Seriously, the plot has potential and I'd like to see how it goes. Just remember that people have faults, enemies, and are mortal. Amber shouldn't be any different to anyone else. It's the people who are normal, but experiance strange and totally un-normal things that are the most interesting, because we can relate to them the best.
