Oooh! This was a brilliant chapter! I loved Ron wanting to tie Bill up and let the local children have at him with sticks, I loved the Spanish Inquisition from the Weasleys and Potters... I *LOVED* the references. And I think the only one I didn't get was Finnegan's Wake - but then again, I haven't read much by James Joyce.

I can see why Hermione would relate to Matilda as a child however; a brilliant idea. And Dahl is such a classic children's writer. I've both read and seen Babbette's Feast. A wonderful tale and I can definitely see how Ron would just love it.

Wow. This is such a wonderful story! I love how you tie romance, intelligent conversation, and tension all together. And all your references are making me want to expand my taste in books. Oh, and Luna---she and Hermione as friends is the icing on the cake. I don't think I've ever seen that done before, but it truly works. Oh I don't have much time to review as i'm just heading out to finish getting the veg and food for christmas, but just wanted to say thanks for the delightful chapter. I really do adore this story, I love all the references litered throughout it and your writting style. It's very well written and intelligent and the small details you add in like Luna re filling Hermione's glass with her own water, are all just brilliant and make it even more enjoyable to read. Thankyou and can't wait for the next chapter.
