Yeah...you're right. That was kind of cold and empty. I am glad that you didn't have Hermione and Severus together at this point though. I'm looking forward to the tension between them for a while. :)

Ch 9 - I know, I know. I'm wayyyy behind everyone else's reading but I had to write about Snape's speech to Hermione re the nature of his personality and soul. Wow! what a powerful piece of writing.

When I read the well stocked dresser and the fact Eli directed her to said window I definately now know the elves are up to sneaky but delicious things. So it wont take long for Snape to figure out what has ruffled Hermione's feathers. Hiring Longbottom? Snape will do antything eh? As always anentertaining read and I could not see any flwas, cheers to your beta if you got one.

Ch 8 - Well, Severus was being a little naive if he thought tangling with Rita was going to be a cake walk. Geesh. Can't wait to read about those grey eyes.
