Amazing! I've read this entire story in under 24 hours, that's how much I've enjoyed it. Your characters are interesting and complex. I find myself getting dragged deeper into the story with every decision Hermione and Shadow make.
Also, I like the way you've handled the Hr/SS aspect. That ship does abosultely nothing for me. In fact, I usually go out of my way to avoid it but it words here. I guess because it is more Shadow/SS than Hr/SS.

I just wanted you to know I've been following this story for ages on RS. I am relieved to find you have it here too since RS isn't updating anymore!
Anyway, I've always enjoyed the fictions where Hermione's darker side gets explored. Your depiction of her emotional turmoil, fatigue and drive is really well done in my opinion. Some times, authors can really go overboard, but you have struck a nice balance!
