Wow. This is actually a nice original idea for an mpreg! An idea which has a good, probable explanation behind it. The magical world can transfigure a human into an animal, polyjuice people, and grow new bones. So, why not the potion you described? Plus, it didn't involve either of them having to be actually pregnant. (A plus for the easily squicked.) I'd really like to read more if you are up to writing some more. (And a dash of Sirius/Remus would be nice too, if possible. But I'm happy with what you did include.)
