Nice biblical references, subtle but sweetly provocative. Excellent chapter! I will never look at strawberries the same way again. I'm starting to think you are too good at this to write fan fiction. Cute poem too.

Every chapter is a gem. I should have reviewed each but could not stop reading. You do both characters well. Their interactions are sublime. No major criticisms. I noticed missing punctuation in chapter 7 and feel like a real heel mentioning it because this story is just great, easily one of the best I have read here or anywhere.

Hmmmn. Why the trip to the infirmary? I don't get it.
How Slytherin of Severus to talk of raw beef (RED meat, unlike chicken or pork) then produce strawberries. Strawberries as snake heads, euch. I picture skinned, raw, dripping, decapitated snake heads. Double euch.
But I still don't understand the trip to the infirmary. And I can't go back and re-read until I finish this review. Review in haste, repent at leisure.
Yes, I did notice Hermione decide to pursue Snape. I liked the line about waiting until she graduated and then persuading him to forgive her, her youth. It's just that the following scene where she visualized snake heads sort of overwhelms the impact of her realization.
