Much as I've enjoyed and looked forward to each installment of your story, I was wondering if it was going to head anywhere. Now you give us this parasite, and the story has moved forward considerably. Well done, and UPDATE!!!! (sorry, but I've just got to have more :) )

Ch.9 is the best so far...and just when I thought you couldn't breech the impossibly high standard set in the first two chapters. What a hellacious hoot!!! I'm starting to think that this would make a great musical........

So far so good. It's realisitc and good charaterisation. The skock syndrome symptoms are dead on as well to the aversion tendancies. Seems like poor Hermione is suffering from PTSD, but it's not extravagant or overdone. Very nice.
