I am glad that you are continuing this story. I read the first three chapters months ago. The cave is a fine distinguishing detail, but I would prefer knowing more about strange fires and beasts in the dark. My overall impression after reading the whole (4 chapters) now is "uprootedness" so to speak. Like they all float (with a headache). If Hermione was grounded in the first chapter, and she seemed to be, she has lost it in the meantime. Her connection with Snape is unclear at best, unjustified at worst. How come she let him touch her at all, let alone lead her to reset her Occlumency? Who are the spies in the Order? Are the people in the cave just refugees or do they have a joint purpose? There is more secrecy and vagueness in the agreement between Snape and Hermione than is justified which breeds insecurity, and that cannot be good. You might reconsider the quantity of information given to the reader. Speaking for myself, I like to walk through the mistery, but floating through fog drains me pretty quickly.

Thank you! I'm glad- that you're glad- that I'm continuing the story! LoL The chapter additions would have been more regular had I retained my internet service, but I had no choice but to disconnect it for a bit. I doubt I'll have that problem again though, thankfully. Hmmm, now to address your questions, which I love to do btw =) There was no beast in the cave at all- it was only Severus and his use of magic to be cruel to Hermione. My only explanation is that he isn't too fond of her at the moment- but the only constant is change- so hold out with me! Perhaps he has control issues and wanted to express his dominance? It

This is a really promising story. I like it so far. I love the sort of Snape/Hermione story where they solve mysteries together. Is there going to be some smut in this, coz I like a bit of everything in a story.

I love the way Snape plays Hermione. Poor kid didn't stand a chance. The order seems much more organized and military under Potter. I like it. Please update soon.
