Wow there is good and then there is f*cking amazing. Dude you are so amazing this is blowing my mind. The difference in views and the emotions mixed with the phycalities of it are freaking amazing to read. I adore this and it is going in my book.

Chapter 1: This is excellent! The set up is perfect for letting us see their differing attitudes and similarities of desire. I liked the way the two sides sides of the story dovetailed and gave insight to their emotions and feelings for one another.
Hermione on the one hand is open and loving and could easily find a permanent place for her dark wizard in her heart and life. Snape on the other hand is apparently so wounded by life and his own opinion of his romantic inadequacies that at this point it would be almost impossible for Hermione to overcome his reluctance to go any further with their physical relationship.
We see them both enjoying each other but there isn't any true mental connection on any other plane than the sexual that comes across. That is probably because of Snape's refusal to venture farther with anything that smacks of love. But so far Hermione seems content to have Snape only sexually and hasn't pushed much for anything more serious. Perhaps the two of them are happy that way.
Wonderful writing and skillful handling of this sterile 'affair'.
