I like this start to your story. It gives the background and then dives right into the lives of the main characters. Since Hermoine is such a caretaker, I imagine that Ron is no longer about (glint of diamond indeed). I enjoyed Harry\'s perceptiveness on Hermione\'s emotional life even as he missed out on the potential blackmail situation in his. I can guess what Draco\'s secret is, but it will be interesting to learn why and how.
