I really wasn't sure I was going to like this fic. It's the first of your work I've read and I may read more. I say may, because you did say that you don't normally have happy endings. I have to confess, I normally don't read dark fics. My own preference, I guess. I figure there's enough sadness and misery in life without going all goth and purposely surrounding myself in depressing stuff. I try to read stuff that at least has a good ending. Never death fics. So.... with that said, I really did like the story. I liked the end very much. Even though it wasn't all fluffy, it was obvious that they were content. The plot was good and the way it all played out was really different. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, it went another way.

Good job with the characters, too. It's hard to get it right and keep them in character. It was weird seeing Harry and Draco as submissive though, because they were anything but in canon. You tied up all of the loose ends well and the whole thing flowed nicely.

That was the pros. Now for just a couple of cons. There were quite a few spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. You should have someone beta for you. It's just another pair of eyes that often see things that you might miss. Commas! Use them. (Sorry, I was an English major.)

All in all, a very good read.

I have to say that I really loved this story and that you are amazing :)

The warning at the beginning of ch. 55 is very off-putting. I can't imagine that anyone would stop reading at that point, since the story is so good, so I'm not sure why you stop the flow of the story to tell us that the ending will be horrible but not as horrible as you wanted it to be. I wish you'd let the story stand or fail on its own merits.

You're a terrific storyteller, but I'm curious if you, "write," with voice recognition software. Your vocabulary is quite extensive and expressive, although the spellings and pseudo-homonyms seem a bit odd, as if someone is taking dictation and using random apostrophes. Please do not waste your creative time on proofreading this. There are plenty of volunteer betas who would love to work with such an amazing story. Spend your time using your talent to create more stories for your grateful fans.

A sappy happy ending was not what I expected, but it worked fine. There was plenty of action/adventure/angst/smut earlier to balance the happily ever after bit.

*review for part 12* Gosh.. I love this fic so much but .. well, I hate Harry/Draco. Wish it could be only Harry/Snape. ehh Still .. lovely.. ugh

that was an absolutely amazing creature fic. all of the others i've read have either been nice and fluffy where Snape and Harry are suddenly in love despite having hated eachother for... forever! and it's all touchy feely. either that or its dark and everyone dies and i'm left thinking "well shucks, life really does blow. why live on?". but this one is right in the middle. the main characters have a happy ending despite the casualties (i mean, i like Lucius normally but in this case he just had to go)
there's also a perfect balance between pervy, gory, sad, happy, cute and WAFF. i cant even begin to fathom how you managed that!
i have to say that its refreshing to see a submissive Draco. i know that in HarryxDraco fics, Draco is usualy dominant and even in threesomes where those two are concerned, Draco still is a top (at least for harry). i love how in this case Draco is equally as submissive as Harry in front of Snape is not more so. thats good shit!
ok, all this ranting is just to say that i absolutely adored this story (my attention didnt even stray once! which is something that tends to happen if the story is more then 10 chapters and this one was 57ch!) and there just arent enough of them out there! *adds to recommended reading*
