Sodomy refers to anal sex or bestiality in the OED. Whatever you call it in the US where fucking your cousin is considered illegal in some states, in the UK sodomy refers to that and that alone. Forced oral sex is rape these days and used to be indecent assault.

I thought this was well written. I am not a big fan of Snape forcing her but since I expected that when I read it...and was curious (I admit it) that is not a complaint, just an observation. I am kind of annoyed at the spiteful reviews. Sodemy refers to one thing in the UK and many things in the US. So what? If the reviewer had just made a comment to that affect instead of attacking the author, then a simple thanks for the info could have occurred. I am from the US and wish as I might that my stories would be error free (even though I lived in England for 3 years), I know it is impossible. You can\'t know the ins and outs of a culture unless you are from that culture. So I rely on my thoughtful reviewers to let me know when I have made a mistake. The comments, although enlightening, kind of take away from the fact that it was a good story. I enjoyed the intensity of it all. I will stop rambling now.

I think you overused \"down her throat\" in this fic, but if that\'s what he was thinking, I guess it\'s OK.

Hi! Just wanted you to know I read both versions of your story and the second is far better. I can actually visualize Snape doing this and given his ego...well...you know. I do think you have a spring board to another story or story\'s. What if Hermione remembers and enjoys or what if Snape want to reprise his fellatio. - Oh, that was my only criticism - Sodomy is up the anus, fellatio is down the throat.

Ok, I\'m a Snape-addict and a pervert, so I liked it. I\'m sure some people will hate this because you\'ve got bad!Snape and no romance/fluff/relationship whatsoever. Personally, I can enjoy most of Snape\'s erotic incarnations, even the evil ones, as long as the writing isn\'t atrocious. I prefer like a little more character development in my smut than what you give here -- not necessarily a whole plot, but a sense of who these people really are and why they\'re acting/reacting in this particular way -- but overall, your writing is pretty good. I\'d like to see you do something more in depth.

Oh, and one last thing--Hermione is obviously unhappy and getting no pleasure from this, so I can\'t help but wonder why she doesn\'t bite him. Shouldn\'t you have Snape either performing a nifty jaw-relaxing spell or promising dire consequences if she doesn\'t keep her teeth to herself?

I agree with Anon\'s review - but overall, the premise of \'shutting her up\' this way is perfect.
