i can\'t believe i check for updates so often...i\'m well and truly hooked.
ooh, marcus is letting his intentions be known to all and sundry.
-still, my money\'s on severus winning the girl. *please* let him win the girl...

Ch 8-9 - well, they all have their points and reasons for their behavior. Severus told Hermione that Marcus wouldn\'t love her, although I don\'t know if she remembers that. I\'m still not completely sure Marcus is incapable of love. I like your bit about Marcus refusing to kill Albus; it shows some honor in him. Will Albus confront Severus about what Marcus said - about not locking Hermione away, not marrying her all these years? Thanks for the new chapters!!

That was intense... and I really think it is the way Severus would react. I love it! I wonder about Hermione and how she will feel after this little encounter. I love Marcus, I can\'t wait to see what he has up his sleeve, and I am a sucker for a man who can dance :D

OK. Now, I\'m hoping Hermione isn\'t too forgiving of what happened in this chapter. Yes, Severus maybe have been jealous and upset. Maybe enough so for Hermione to be declaring her love at the end of this scene. But, HELL! He was actually raping her this time. Maybe rape is a strong word. But still... he didn\'t care about her pain, about what she wanted, he wasn\'t listening to a damn thing. I hope you plan some time apart for them. As for Marcus...not sure of my thoughts on his yet. I\'d like to see \"something\" between he and Hermione. And for Severus.... I\'m curious to see what he\'s going to do. However, I think he needs to feel some sorrow and regret for his selfishness and his hurting of Hermione. He may love her, but he also sees her as HIS possession. Not cool.

Ch 7 - boy, this Marcus may end up making Severus look like a gentleman! I\'m looking forward (I think) to seeing Hermione\'s mind, hopefully figuring out everything - the dream, Severus\' actions and fears, Marcus\' story and motives. And will the Snape elves (Eli, Leaf Ear) show up to spy on Marcus? Thanks for the new chapter!

Oh, no. Here comes his opportunity and what does he do - he blows it. Men, grrr. I hope that Severus takes her aside later and explains his awful behavior. Otherwise.... This story is very nicely written, by the way.
