Wow. I just got done reading everything, from \'What was I Thinking\' to \'A Matter of Matrimony\', and I am simply amazed. Congratulations on such a wonderful work of art. You\'ve done more to capture the intracacies of human interaction than many professional writers. Please don\'t forget to put a disclaimer on here, as per AFF\'s new requiremtns, as I would hate to see this deleted. Brava.

Chapter 8 - Well writen. It was great to read both Hermione\'s and Severus\'s thought on what occured. I\'m glad to see that Hermione is going to stand up for herself. Severus needs to learn that she won\'t tolerate being treated like that but that even if she has other friends, that it doesn\'t mean that she won\'t want him any more.
Severus is going to be in for a rude awakening. He says he is going to let her decide but I won\'t be surprised if he starts putting his best food forward and starts quarting her. He may find the man in himself that he lost a long time ago.
Keep up the great work and update soon.

Poor Severus. But really and truly he crossed over the line and was brutal in his treatment of Hermione. She is dealing with things the best way she knows how but she really doesn\'t have the experience to deal with Marcus...that\'s on Severus\'s shoulders also. You are once again weaving a powerful story. Thank you for sharing it with us and so quickly.

Ch. 10 was wonderful in that Hermione asserted her desire not to be a doormat. So, where do we go from here??? I\'m dying to see how the story will progress....
