That, was incredibly hilarious - Severus beat the sh*t out of Marcus - yay, go Severus, go Severus, go go Severus!!! Lol! I\'m not usually one for violence, but really, he bloody deserved it! Oh, I can\'t wait to see what Hermione does!!!!!

Wow. That was one kiss ass fight scene! I think Marcus is not quite up to Severus or Hermione\'s hand to hand combat skills! Even though he is good, he can not come inbetween those two. That\'s just asking for a brutal ass-kicking like we just saw. How Hermione must really love Severus for that. because he did open up to her and show her what he knew. And he showed her that even though he knew it, he was willing to allow her to take care of herself and respect her wishes. even though he was watching from afar. Then he opened up and told her everyhting she needed to hear in her moment of weekness. He has now proven that he is a friend to her as well as a lover. Perfect makings for a husband...if I say so myself. Later, she will understand what he was talking about when he said \'things concerning our relationship\'. Marriage will undoubtebly come up then, won\'t it? I am foaming at the mouth to find out how Hermione will handle this little conversation with Marcus. I know you must be writing non stop to post so many chapters over the past few days, but really. I am waiting fr her ass kicking and for thier make up lemons! Ohhhh...a date too. Where he proposes to her! *does my happy dance* I can\'t wait! I am as addicted as any other readers here. I can\'t tell you how I love it.

Ooooh yay.... I hope he doesn\'t mess up the proposal and Hermione better say yes - or she needs her head checked!

This is just bloody brilliant! Your best story yet! You have captured Snape perfectly with his possessivness and he would use sex to convey his emotions because he can\'t do it verbally. And as for Marcus the way you captured how the mind of a predator works (and we have all had to deal with one) is just brilliant.
Sorry for not reviewing earlier although I have been following the story. It\'s Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and things have been a bit hectic.

Whew! You had me on the edge of my seat for a few chapters there!

About the only thing I found disappointing in Hermione is that she was stupid enough to drink with Marcus. Even if she did think of him as a friend, she is also very aware of how she acts when intoxicated. Knowing this and knowing she was planning on going back with Severus, drinking was about the most unintelligent thing she could have done. Of course, I know it was inevitible that he\'d get her drunk but I thought he\'d have to be sneakier about it -- I didn\'t think she\'d be dozy enough to willingly put herself at risk.

Thank goodness Severus was smart enough to get his ass there and fast! You go, Sev! I\'m so unbelievably happy that he kicked Marcus\'s ass. That creep diserved it and more. And I\'m also so relieved Severus finally showed her the pensieve memory. I can\'t imagine that she would want to stay his friend or have anything else to do with him anymore. He wasn\'t actually her friend, after all. It was all a big game so he could rape her. I certainly hope she thinks things through and irons out a plan with Severus (and Dumbledore) prior to confronting Marcus. As they did with Draco. This guy is certainly more dangerous and more of a threat to all.

I would love for them to totally set the guy up. Let him think that she doesn\'t remember her behavior or the fight. Let him think that she is still his friend. The guy is running out of patience and is to the point of forcing her so if they catch him, they can send his ass away for good. Wouldn\'t that be hilarious if he tried to penetrate and couldn\'t because a fidelity chastity charm of some type protects her from him and that\'s how he finds out she and Snape got married.

I\'ve just stumbled on your story and read all twenty-one chapters, thus far, in one greedy gulp. Nice little power play you wrote into it with Marcus (who is -- on the surface -- similar to Severus, so one could see the attraction). I\'ve enjoyed it thoroughly, and can hardly wait to read your version of a Hermione thoroughly furious... especially when she goes after Marcus. In some ways she and Severus should thank him... I can\'t imagine that Hermione would ever be tempted away from Severus again.

Way to go, Hermione. The bastard deserved it. I hope it doesn\'t heal properly.

I know that Hermione thought of the relationship as loving but it was as I said before too one dimensional. There was the roughness they both desired but there wasn\'t the corresponding softness. I hope they can find the balance.
