Sorry to burst your bubble, but Draco Malfoy's birthday is on June 5th. XD I find that kind of funny, that I would know this by memory, but I know Hermione's birthday, too if you want to know (for future references...?)...

Snape. Right? Lucius wouldn't look out for Malfoy and second of all, Malfoy has to be completely suprised with the outcome. You mentioned Snape went missing (or maybe you didn't... I might be mixing my D/Hr fanfictions up), before... so it's blatantly obvious.
Either that, or you're TRYING to make it seem like Snape, when it really isn't it all.
