quite possibly the best hp/ss fic i've ever read. the line about snape being 'a lonely bishop moved at whim from side to side, destined never to see the end game' encapsulates snape better than anything else i've ever read. you are a truly talented author. congratulation and thankyou.

What a lovely story. And what is more, wonderfully believable, as HBP-stories go. I loved it! I loved that Snape had to oblvierate him twice, AND the fact that he did it at all. When he started telling the secred I thought WTF? but it all made perfect sense. Snape got it out of his system by telling it, and the secret is still safe, after the Obliviate. This is lovely! Mmmmmh. Snarries are always the best, but this one sure ranks high. So sweet. And so immensely SAD, when you know what is bound to happen next. I like your Dumbledore, too. Manipulative odl sod. I've personally never understood why people were mourning when Snape killed him in HBP. It was so obvious that it was a set up. But I cried (literally) for Snape. Poor man.

Loved the turn of event that Severus showed us, grabbing Harry into an embrace......the game was up then.

The explanations of who was to kill whom and for what reason seemed to make a lot of sense, but what I can\'t understand is how can Harry love Snape and hate him too? ...besides the lovers\' thing....Harry never seems so fickle about his devotion, to anyone.

Anyways, loved the story and here is a truck load of Honeydukes best candy to fill your muse.
