HI! I have many many things to ask you, but first I have to get something out of the way: GREAT FIT! You did really well making this challenge your own. I would praise you more on that subject, but I to be some where soon(just scruffing down dinner right now). So, first of all, who came up with this challenge? And don't yell at me if it's on your profile, cuz I haven't looked at it yet, kay's? Secondly, is the challenge still open to take? I'm really busy at the moment (that

Super awsome fic...never read one with Vanteera before...meh, they are cool, if a little too good to be true. I think my favorite part was that you're Canadian. Wanna know how I know? It's all in the smarties baby.

Hey, this review is for two reasons. One: I just LOVE this story! It's my favorite out of all of the Vanteerian ones I've read...and I've read quite a few!
Two: in response to the review from jj about how people can't be allergic to salt. That's untrue. I happen to have what's known as a "skin allergy" to it. I am incapable of swimming in the ocean without developing a severe rash on my entire body; the rash is both itchy and painful as it makes my skin very tight. As to our eyes naturally making a saline solution...trust me, crying isn't very pleasant when it makes your eyes burn like crazy and your cheeks get red and itchy, not to mention it's as painful as swimming in the ocean is. While I can safely eat salt and can handle it in my body quite well, it's not fun having it stuck to my skin. And having talked to an allergist about it, I've learned that "skin allergies" to salt are actually fairly common!
So, considering Harry is a magical creature, it's not that odd for him to have developed a more serious allergy to salt.
This isn't me flaming jj at all...just me feeling the need to point out that often allergies are very strange in HUMANS...so magical creatures could certainly be expected to have stranger ones!
Again, I absolutely ADORE this story, and look forward to the epilogue!

I REALLY don't understand WHY Harry didn't "accio" Hedwig while his uncle was still in the yard! He had PLENTY of time, as it would have taken several minutes for Vernon to even get to Harry's room. Harry could have had the LOCK opened even and Hedwig would have been able to fly away. I hate stories where Vernon kills her.

Can't wait for the last few chapters. I don't understand why some people get so upset about logic and reality, or out of canon behavior: fan fiction is automatically out of canon. If the writing is good, and the story stays true to its own logic - those are the important things. Your writing is very good, and the story is true to itself - keep on doing things your way.
