So she doesn\'t need to know she supposedly number 4 on a list of people. Gotcha. Not that the order seems important, you\'ve knocked 30-something people already without a single attack against Hermione having occured. Good point, I had forgotten the commercial spell developer job, which makes it seem even more unlikely that she would be allowed to remain at the school if she\'s in so much danger, she\'s not even a teacher. I notice that you didn\'t comment on the lack of attacks, or any indication of Deatheater interest in Hermione, other than Severus of course. I agree with Lemonade, she should hate him by the end of this. Of course we know that you\'ve established your happy ever after, this is just making it seem incredibly ridiculous. I mean really, oh I love you so much, I am going to break your bones for your own good, and she buys that? Whatever. I think I\'ll wait for whatever next story is in the series, as I mentioned I have enjoyed the majority of what you\'ve written, and I hope there is more. I\'ll just skip this one.

I think you have presented all of us with the proper information for this story in your previous story. I figured this might be how they began their little games mentioned in your epilogue of the second story. I think that a lot of times people read a story and don\'t realize its a sequel so they don\'t know what\'s going on or why. It doesn\'t matter sometimes that you have it in the summary or in your notes, sometimes those are skipped and people like to get to the story.

You are doing a wonderful job, and I have no doubt that this will all work out fine for Severus and Hermione.

Really, Ms. Figg!! You know I love a mean, nasty Severus as much as the next wench, but aren\'t you making him just a tad too evil here?? Wouldn\'t it be better to have Hermione sharpen her wandless magic skills instead? Or maybe that wouldn\'t be as much fun for Snape. I\'m seeing dark things ahead!

This is going to be so hard for them, but I\'m glad she has finally realized she\'s got to focus. I\'m looking forward to more.

What is the point? Strikes me more as your Severus just wants the chance to beat the shit out of Hermione. I have yet to see a \"real\" attack on Hermione, so where does all the supposed concern come from? The only person who has attempted to harm the girl has been Severus. At this point the girl needs to be looking for a new job, and a new lover. Showing her those photos seems to have served no purpose other than to terrorize her, not to instill healthy fear, but actually part of some ridiculous mind game. I find it hard to believe anyone\'s version of Dumbledore would agree to this nonsense taking place in a scholl she is supposedly teaching in. How is she supposed to focus on her job if she\'s under attack by another member of the staff? I also fail to see why this is the first she has heard of \"the list\", if she is so high up it why wasn\'t she immediately warned whent he list was discovered? If she is such a target why is she even allowed to remain at the school, surely she\'s endangering the children with her very presence? i thourghly enjoyed most of the previous stories, but this one makes no sense to me at all!

Ch 2 - hmm, is there really a list, or is Dumbledore trying to scare her into cooperating? Excellent dialogue here, and I appreciated the extra info you added to Chapter 1. Thanks for updating!

Oh Anon...I must respectfully disagree with you. I see it as Severus actually caring about her to show her those photos. She wasn\'t taking it seriously. All she wanted to do was fidle around in the lab and shag him. He had to show her what was real. Secondly, the safest place to be is Hogwarts. Everyone knows that. So he is talking about the times that she is not under his nose. Maybe in Hogsmeade? Maybe outside the grounds? Who knows. And finally Dumbledore, he is always, in my mind anyway, been the type that would want Hermione to learn by any means necessary. He did tell Severus to keep it \"quiet\", whatever his means were. He really wasn\'t told, was he? But I guess, he does know..Dumbledore seems to know everything. Anyhoo...I love it and think it is wonderful, like everything Ms_Figg writes. It can only get BETTER from here on out!
