I have just finished what you have posted up to date and to tell you honestly I love this story. I love how you had Severus faint and then his mother do the same. I also love how you are placing the correct perspective with Severus trying to be a father to a son he never knew exhisted until he came to Hogwart\'s.

I have also read your author\'s note and can safely say that I as a reader am very pleased you did not write Snape in cannon. Just trying to picture him that way in this story just makes my poor head hurt.

I love the interaction between the three of them and the interaction with Hermione\'s parents.


I can tell you have put a lot of work into this story. I hope it will continue and you can update very soon. I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Please e-mail me whenever you update.

Ch 17/16 - nice! Poor Hilty, perhaps Severus can order her to take a healing potion with the excuse that it will make her work more efficiently. Can the nasty portraits be cut up, or reduced and stuck in the attic? I\'m looking forward to seeing their first Christmas together, and hope Hadrian gets to play in the snow with his dad. Pictures! They need to take pictures!

I like your lightness. That\'s part of the fun of reading here at this site. You get so many different perspectives of the characters. I like going from a dark Severus to one who is a bit lighter.
