Wonderful start! I really liked the drawn to be quartered scene! That was pretty unique to say the least. I guess we will have to wait to find out why the person protecting them had done that. It seems that person must have had doubts as to thier inocence as well to have put them through such a torture. I look forward to more chapters and how you will twist the cannon to dispell the nagging doubts about Severus. Plot bunnies go forth and multiply!
