i know angst is a fav of fan fic writers... but you've created a relationship with this story that i truly love and even if there's going to be a happy ending... if you have hermione miscarry now... i just won't be able to keep reading this... i just wont... i feel faint...

Sorry, but such a Marriage Law is absolut unrealistic. Every Witch and Wizard which not want to marry would just leave the country and that would not be a consequence, which is desired by the ministery. Furthermore the party concerned could raise a hue and cry. They could fight for their freedom, which is also rather unwanted. So ... I don't think, that such a law would have a chance.
