For a so-called \"redemption\" story: I must say, this rocked.
I truly did not want to see it end, but was glad that the author handled the ending with appropriate applomb and maturity.
All I want to do is read it over and over again!!

Hi. I loved this story to begin with - I thought it was intriguing in every way possible and I really enjoyed the first few chapters. I loved your characterisation of Snape following the events of HBP - he seemed so realistic and I really felt you got the right mix of evil and misunderstood. However, in the last chapter especially, I felt you had a complete character reversal, without the grounds to really do so. For me, I have to admit this last chapter was a disappointment. Maybe you\'ll tie things up a bit more in the epilogue - I hope so. But anyway, sorry if I\'ve ranted, I have enjoyed the story, especially the first few chapters. Well done, and I do look forward to reading the epilogue. And this story probably still is the most feasible-seeming post-HBP fic I\'ve read so far!

Sob! Please say it ain\'t so!!! I had no idea that the end was so close! All I have to look forward to now is the epilogue. Well, on the bright side I should finally be able to clean my house again! I really like the whole disappearing to create a new life thing. I guess I\'ll just have to read your new story now. Hope you can put up the epilogue soon. As always- happy writing! Tengo que irme! Salud!
Hugs and kisses!

Hi Loola,
Thank you for the kind words.
\"However, in the last chapter especially, I felt you had a complete character reversal, without the grounds to really do so.\"
My set up for the change of character is that he is no longer a double spy, he longer has Potter as a thorn in his side and he is free to indulge in the fantasy that none of it ever happened. On top of that, in my story I set it up that much of his irrational behavior was due to his removal of important memories. Does he still hate Potter? Yes. But he no longer has to deal with Potter! For me not to have Snape change would be doing a disservice to Snape and forcing a stereotype of who Potter and Rowling think he is.
To elaborate on that--Throughout the books one sees Snape through Potter\'s eyes. But the one time we don\'t is in HBP \"Spinner\'s End\" chapter two. I\'ve done the best I can manage in interpretting Snape\'s character as I see him, esp. based on that chapter. I have always freely admitted that any SS/HG fic is ALWAYS going to be non-canon because it has never been Rowling\'s intention to link the two up.
That said, I know I can\'t please everyone.
all the best,
April

I loved the story, especially Snape\'s mental instability, and Hermione wandering around in his mind. The only thing that didn\'t fit was the ending. I dunno....didnt fit exactly...But great story anyways, good job.

Ohmigods, I can\'t believe that it\'s over! I\'m happy but I\'m sad too because I really enjoyed the storyand your writing. Oh my. Okay, this chapter was awesome. You totally had me fooled. I thought she\'d decided upon Viktor and that Severus was totally gone. Anyway, it\'s a great resolution to your story and I\'m so glad that I read it. I\'ll definitely keep my eyes open for new stories by you and definitely keep looking for the epilogue. Thank you, thank you for sharing your wonderful story.
