wow. this was very original. It was gritty, real, and i really liked it. Is there more to it? Although I think it is a good way to end it, I can\'t help wanting more.

Not being a writer myself, I\'m not great at leaving witty and insightful reviews. This was a very good fic. Human nature can go this route. This kind of paranoia is real. In keeping with that, I found no OOC-ness whatsoever (not so easy with the given ship). Thanks for writing this--I\'ll probably revisit it from time to time.

It was so very nice to see a tiny light at the end of the tunnel at the end of this piece. I particularly liked the sense of inevitibility about this piece, the numbness and desperation of their flight and their fugitive existence. It certainly strips the veneer of civilization from the hauteur, and the thing I like the best is that under all that sophistication, Lucius is still a powerful, ambitious wizard... Hermione was a little more problematical for me, however, I can certainly see her seeing long-term trends and reading them accurately, and not abandoning her chosen world even to the bitter end... which might not be so bitter after all.
