Your completely right in saying this is not a darkfic. It is angst yes, but no where near the level of darkfic. The definition in the old veela.inc glossary, which was one of the firsts if I remember correctly, was very similar to the one you quoted and it is the same in most fandom dictionaries. Its is sad that authors who write character death in our fandom have to deal with so much crap. Everyone wants happy endings, very few people can appreciate the beauty in angst. I mean I was sad when Draco died, but I totally understand why you did it and I still think this is a wonderful fic. And btw, you have awesome taste in music.

More tears. Jeez. Great story, but so sad!

This story is so sad... I\'m crying right now. I have to go find something fluffy and happy to read now to cheer me up.
Also, I have to agree that this is not a darkfic. I think it\'s better labeled as tragedy.

wow.

I just read your story in one swoop....an id have to say, dracos death was abrupt. I reallly like your story though, i\'m pissed that Draco had to die. Its leaving me with a cold hollow feeling.

What especiallly made me mad was the way you kinda of knew what i was feeling at the end....and your mockery of us with the \"would u say it was better not to have read the story and save yourself the pain\" speech...Bit ironic because a one part of the story was about the whole \"better to have loved and lost than never loved at all\". Which i dont agree with, if one has never loved they dont loose anything, dont feel anypain or depression. But i would rather have read your story than never stumbled across it. I really do like it.

i hhonestly never wanted to review, because of what you did. But all good work needs credit. and yours is spectacular.

Oh poor Harry! My heart bleeds for him. Need chapter 34! Draco is still visiting and is able to wipe his tears? To spoon him? I\'m glad he\'s here though. Harry needs that little bit of him. I wonder if Draco left it as a present. A part of himself for Harry.

So, this is the end? It is fine... last chapters (before tragic end) was so sweet and tragic end came as a shock (little bit). Actually Draco\'s death was so...absurd - that made it even more sad. But still - there was kind of something missing, maybe - I am not sure - maybe not. I am just a bit flustured because of ending. But it certainly has effect. And story was perfect. And death is often brute and absurd - not result of heroic act or something, so I understand. Your story felt very real and raw (I don\'t know why this adjective) and ending was like that. Yeah, I guess it was right. Of course at first I wanted to curs you for making me sad :) but, neah, it was great. Your story reminded me about another great story (somehow) if you not only write, but read to - try it. Link: http://www.swish-n-flick.netfirms.com/images/coverpages/iyap_cover.htm

actually i like the plot. i already thought it would and as boring and as happy-deppy-lovey-dovey as many D/H fanfic... not that soemthing is bad about that, but i really like how this story comes along and i am happy you didnt just let it fall after the 30th chapter.
looking forward to the next chapter, Zera

This definitely got to me, actually I can barely type for the tears. So many things: no warning, no battle, no one knew about them so he has no ability to grieve in public, do they even have his body? I still think it was good, but when it\'s complete, to be fair, you should warn that character death is included. I usually have to psyche myself up to read char d, sometimes it\'s too much.

Okay, I went back and looked, and it does say Char D, but NOT DARKFIC? Are you kidding me? You killed off Draco, not Filch. Heart hurting, got to go.
