Sure, I\'ll see if I can find it again. I read it about 6 or 7 months ago. Although after your explanation, I\'m sure it\'s just as you said a coincidence. My friend\'s father was on the plane that hit the first tower and she had wished he had a chance to call her.

Hi. This story seem disturbingly similar to a Logan/Marie Fic - including being cornered, calling his loved one, who is pregnant and telling her he loved her before he kills himself. I hope it\'s just an amazing coincidence.

Hi - I\'ll have to assume it is a disturbing similarity. I dabbled in Logan/Marie fic about 5 years ago, but it was something of a short stay, most of my previous stuff is Pitch Black/Vin Diesel related. This piece was triggered by someone mentioning a WIKTT challenge on Ashwinder entitled \'Final Goodbye\' (or something similar, it was in the author\'s notes and I\'ve managed to loose the link), which combined with a conversation I\'d just had with my housemates about who you\'d call if you knew you were going to die, and what you\'d say, which in turn was triggered, as Bambu guessed in her review, by the calls made by those on the 9/11 flights. Hermione wasn\'t initially pregnant when I wrote this the first time around, but that version came out at under 500 words, and seemed incredibly shallow for the situation, so I tried to bulk it out and adopted what seems to be an oft-used plot device in HG/SS and made her pregnant, which only added 300 words or so, but seemed to give it the necessary gravity needed. Could I have the URL to the story you mentioned, so I can see just how far the similarites go? Thanx

OMG! How very sad! That broke my heart. Good writing, though.

Damn! That was sad. Well written, but now I need to go find some fluff to read.
