This is really good; I like a long. slow build-up where \'ships are concerned. Too often, you get writers who jump right into the snogging/shagging...whereas this story promises to be wonderfully realized.

It\'s good to see Hermione recognizing Ron, even if it was only the way that she didn\'t want to believe that he was dead like they were telling her.

I don\'t know if you thought of it, but I felt that the reason Hermione fixated on Severus was not because he was the first authoritative voice she heard, but because he used his fading dark mark to unlock her shackle. Some enchantment in the cursed thing tells her that he is her master, because he controlled it.

Ahhhh, the plot thickens...I can\'t figure out what happened to Ron. Is he still alive? I know you are busy and need to do your work but I\'m looking forward to the next installment and hope we don\'t have to wait too long for the next update.

I LOVE how you have Harry and Severus interacting with each other!! It is priceless, very clever in dialogue and in Snape\'s thoughts!! Kudos to you!! Very nice work!!
