Chapters 1-3: So far, all I know is that Lucius is in love with Vivienne, who has wings (sometimes) and can make it snow in the bathroom. I looked up the word sephor and got nothing until I added an 'a' for sephora. Then I got a reference to 'Zipporah' which means bird. (And a large cosmetics chain...)
Vivienne got angry with Lucius for not presenting her to his friends at a restaurant, but I didn't really know why. I guess I'll find out in a future chapter. Narcissa and Lucius are no longer married and they're both okay with that. I hope that comes out in a future chapter too.
So, back to reading, 'cause at this point I don't understand who Vivienne is at all. I guess the story is designed that way and I'm just impatient. Yup, that's me, Femininicus impatiensis. 8-)

Chapters 4-6: Those special arrangements were HOT. But I do think Vivienne could have gotten more mileage out of Lucius if she hadn't been so uncomfortable showing him certain skin-y parts that apparently he'd seen many times before. Lighten up, girl! Lie back and enjoy!
At least Lucius has explained why he can't introduce her around like he would wish, and I think Voldemort's re-emergence is a very viable reason. Lucius feeling pain at knowing her instead of indifference dictates powerful feelings. She should take that as a compliment from Mr. Ice Cold Malfoy.
Omigosh, Viviene called Lucius a 'smart ass' and got away with it. She definitely has affected him - for the good. And he wants more children? Yummy. I liked his comment, "Feel free to worship me for my intelligence." Oh yeah, that and so much more! ;-)
Oh, snicker, Vivienne's family raising true daughters and keeping wizards for pleasure - so FUNNY. And nice psychology, that she made Lucius want to change, as Draco said.
So now I know more about Sephors - immortals who, like the Highlander series, appropriate all abilities from previous sephors except I guess they don't have to kill them to get the powers. Geez, it sounds like Vivienne is planning on not being around to raise their child. Why? This isn't going to be a sad story, is it? I really don't like sad stories. They're too depressing. Now I'm worried...

Chapters 7-10: Well, Voldemort is dead (one head removed from one body - check) and poor Vivienne has lost her immortality. I didn't know why she did, was it because she caused the death of someone else? Maybe I missed the reason. But now she's trying to live as a mortal. It's good Lucius kept her from attempting a swan dive from the high window. Too bad she can't have children now. (Not sure why that happened either...) Her new body seems to have gone back to its virginal state, but some of her internal female organs are now missing? I'm a bit confused, but that's nothing new.
So at least they appear to have made their peace with each other and the only problems now are her youthful appearance and Lucius being her professor and much older. So the wizarding world doesn't have trophy wives?

Chapters 11-14: If I could be alone in a mansion with Lucius, I'm not sure I would care if the world didn't like us as a couple or if we had kids. I'm not sure I'd remember my name, frankly. I'd be reduced to gibberish much of the time if he kept taking his (and my) clothes off. And good call, Vivienne not wearing knickers, heck, why should she? They'd only get in the way, as Lucius has shown time after time.
Now, why was Lucius suddenly overtaken by some alter ego and become vicious to Vivienne? His former nasty self emerging from dry dock? I do think I'd stay clear of that second bedroom, though. No happy memories there.
So we're coming to the Weasley New Year's Eve party. Back to reading...

Chapters 14-16: Everything they had together is falling apart. He's retreating into himself, and she's doing the same. They seemed to be so much in love. Why is it all falling apart? It's as though his past has created a huge fissure in the rock they had based their lives on. Did he really think he could erase that second bedroom with a nursery? Well, maybe that could have done it, trading death in for new life. But this story is definitely going very dark. It feels like Lucius doesn't want to completely leave his past behind, it's too much a part of him a MALFOY, which he's alluded to many times as something almost holy, and impossible to evade.

Great start! I like your portrayal of Lucius, & Vivienne is interesting too. The wings were a surprise. I wonder what\'s up your sleeve. ~Lily
