I love this story! Hermione *does* need to learn to touch him and be touched, and to be not skittish...*evil grin* Is more practice in order? You have their interactions very well played out. Side note--having you email out updates gave you a million brownie points! You are the first person here that has done that. Kudo points to you! *grin*

Me again!

I was browsing the pages when I saw you had another story and God, there was no way I could resist the temptation--with how good of a writer *you* are and the lack of good D/Hr fics on this site.

Anyway, I, of course, am in love with this story. The idea behind it is great: I love the fact that you have Draco arguing with his father about following Voldemort. Lucius rasied his son well. Draco is no fool, and he knows that following Voldemort both endangers their family name, and their futures. He understands that the prestige (is that the right word...?) of the Malfoy name is of great importance, and he\'s trying his hardest to keep it out of the mud (even though that\'s where Lucius currently has it).

A lot of people don\'t think Draco is too smart, but I think he is. He knows what his priorities are, and he knows what he has to do in order to get what he wants--even if the means pretending to be in a relationship with Mudblood Granger (even though he makes no references to her in this fic as a Mudblood, which I thought was strange, but not completely unfounded. I mean, calling the girl you want to help you out by a much hated and hurtful insult won\'t exactly get her to do what you want... Though, on the other hand, Draco calling Hermione a Mudlblood would allow the readers to see that there were absolutely no feelings between them, and it would give Hermione a reason to hate Malfoy more. And from there, she could either end the charade completely, or try her hardest to act up to par with \"what people want\" while their in public. But that really isn\'t the direction in which you\'re taking your story; I mean, in order for what I said before to work out, Hermione had to really, REALLY want to hurt Ron and make him jealous, and you can see from both her behavior and her words that she\'s not so hard pressed to hurt one of her best friends, and that she isn\'t afraid to end everything between she and Malfoy at the drop of a hat.)

Whew. Long paragraph.

I like how you write Hermione being timid and shy, and how her knowledge of intimacies between boyfriends and girlfriends are limited (and I don\'t mean sex; I mean, well, like the touching and stuff). I think that alot of people would\'ve written Hermione jumping right into the flow of things, which is like her in normal situations. But, one must take into consideration that this is *not* a normal situation, and that she\'s pretending to be in love with someone she hates--Draco Malfoy to be exact. What I\'m trying to say is that I think you wrote her personality adapting to the situation very well--you wrote her not adapting well at all (lol). And I think you leave Malfoy out a bit sometimes--his feelings, I mean. He\'s all business, which is soooo him, but still... I dunno, maybe it\'s just me (which it probably is).

I loved the idea of having Malfoy taking Hermione flying--which she won\'t do with anyone (or should I say *wouldn\'t*? lol). The thought process behind it was great, and my God, you write Draco and Hermione well.

The line, \"hey gorgeous, what are you doing after dinner?\" nearly made me fall out of my seat! I could just PICTURE Draco doing that and oh God, oh God, oh GOD! He\'s too sexy for his own good, and I\'m getting all tingly now just thinking about it. Sorry, I\'m a bit... obsessive, I suppose. But really, what would *you* do for a peek in those boxers? lol. (Omg, I\'m so blushing right now!)

Jealous Ron is awesome. I love how he\'s all \"I\'m you\'re boyfriend and I forbid you to do this and that!\" I was thinking, \"screw you\" while I read it, but I thought you wrote it very well all the same. Chauvanistic (I SO spelled that wrong) Ron is one of my favorites. I\'m not a big fan of him being all gushy...

Anyway, this review is totally long, (longer than most that I post on this site), and I think its time I end it. You\'re a really great writer though, and I thoroughly enjoy reading your work.

I hope you don\'t make us wait too long for an update!

I\'m always skeptical about D/Hr fanfic, even though it\'s one of my favorite HP pairings, because plotlines tend to be irrational and not thought out very well. Your fic actually gives the characters a reason for acting the way that they do, which makes it all the more enjoyable to read. Not to mention that it actually has a plot, which I\'ve noticed a lot of \'authors\' have taken to throwing out. (And it isn\'t just purely Draco-Hermione-hot-sex-love-the-end.) Really, I\'m in love with it. It\'s one of the better fics I\'ve read in quite some time. Well, it will be, when you get around to writing some more. :)
