Still enjoying your story. Interesting question you pose in your A/N. I\'d have to say that we can never truely be our authentic and true selves as long as we are in our physical bodies because everything gets distorted by the perceptions of our minds. To every person that we meet we wear a different mask. The fear that people will not like us if they knew what we were REALLY like keeps those masks firmly in place.

if harry wasn\'t adopted by the potters then wouldn\'t he no longer be whatever title it was that he had in the beginning?
is voldamort really the heir of slithern? if he was then he would be harry\'s clostest relative wouldn\'t he? so since it was the malfoys not voldie then he wouldn\'t be the heir of slithern just a random person would could speak parseltong

I just happen to come accross this story today and was entranced by it. It is really great, I like the development of the bond. First I was a little bit shocked about the slave thing, but in this context it is a great idea. Yeah, and Harry gets more powerful, more mysterious, more aristocratic. I like that. Hermiony is acting absolutly unlogical about Harry and Draco, but as she is not a Ravenclaw...
