Love it! I just Love it. I hope that you write more on this! Really I do. Such an interesting side to Lucius, soft yet not really. He\'s very hard to write and you have come extremely close!

This was clever and intriguing and eminently plausible. I can easily see Lucius Malfoy jettisoning his position at the Dark Lord\'s side for survival (he did after all denounce his Death Eater connections in the wake of Voldemort\'s first defeat by claiming Imperius) of his family, fortune and position. Truthfully, I think there are only two real issues to overcome in this pairing. One is the fact of Hermione\'s parentage and the other is her age. His marriage is easily dealt with, but the others loom large on the landscape. You worked hard to tackle the first issue throughout the story, and the second is easily answered by Hermione\'s relationship to Harry and the strategic importance she holds. You\'ve deftly presented understandable reasons to isolate Hermione from her friends, and the only thing I found myself curious about was how Draco would handle becoming an older brother to a half-blood. Otherwise, I thought you wrought the entire story with great ease and beautiful cunning. Hermione\'s reactions and responses were understandable and I particularly loved her inner dialogue throughout the piece. It added a lovely touch of verisimilitude.

Oh please don\'t let it end there. I\'m sure you can do so much more with this. I love the twist and finding out that Lucius (for his own purposes) is actually working both sides of the war. I do hope you decide to go on.

What a great plot bunny! Normally, I would be cheering for Lucius to fail, but this, this plot bunny I like! I hope he succeeds! Thanks for the great story. Really, really good!

Please continue this cheri, it is extremely well written and fascinatingly told. This fiction really should go on a bit longer, turning into a Lucius/Hermione story. I really would like that, if you find that you have the time at all.
Good times and rock on,
Dom

I just read the story, and damn and blast i had to revew it.I love the LM/HG ship, but its really hard to find a good fic out there about them. I have no word, its just splendid, how you kept Malfoy in character an even though not making him so awful. To be truthful i dont really think that death eathers rape, i think they just torture, and play with muggles just to make them look fools, but i dont think purebloods would \"soil\" their hands touching a mudblood.GOOD JOB!!! and please, please ,please, keep updating!!!!!
