JW - I was actually hoping for that reaction to chapter 7! It was pretty much the most sadistic thing I could think of and I wanted Lucius to come across as this kind of repressed aristocrat who takes out all his secret sexual agression on Scarlett in the form of fetish-type-things. So yeah, pretty much I just wanted him to seem a little weird.
But never fear; Luci has it coming.

Ch 7 - ?? So Lucius had her drink her own milk? Wonder why.... \"she\'d hated him in school, and she hated him now\" - good, that\'s the spirit! Nice to see that she still has a bit of her old self. Thanks for the promise about the \"twist-ending\" coming and the \"Hogwarts professor\" - now I can relax a bit when I read the chapters, instead of getting all nervous about when Lucius is going to kill her. \'Cuz it\'s obvious that Lucius won\'t let her live long enough to grow old - ooh, I hope you have a fitting end for him and Draco! Thanks for the new chapters.

First off, thank you to everyone who has reviewed. Your comments mean so much to me; I like to use feedback to make the story better.
Black_lust_z - You\'re right, I definitely tried to put a different spin on Lucius. I always envisioned him being very paternal and manipulative more so than cruel without reason. Of course, my OFC is a pureblood, so that affects the way he treats her.
JW - Scarlett is smart, but even smarts can\'t overcome emotions. Right now, she\'s \"under Lucius\'s spell\" so to speak - which is to say, he holds quite a bit of power over her, physically and mentally. She thinks that she needs him, so she won\'t be scurrying off any time soon. But don\'t worry, I have a nice little twist-ending in mind - featuring a Hogwarts professor no less.
Stratyllis - I completely agree that neither Hermione nor Ginny would fit in this fic; if there\'s one thing I can\'t stand, it\'s canon characters out of character. (odd as that sounds.) At any rate, I\'m very glad you like it!
