Is it really going to be that quick? I love this story, and can't wait for what happens. So glad Sev managed to trick Lord Voldemort, and I hope he wins fair love!

I hope you didn't take that (or this) reply as a flame. It wasn't meant as such. I understand what you were referring to and the implications that were made. However, I wasn't just spouting off. I know the definition of plagiarism. I'm saying that fan fiction is basically you sponging off of someone else's original idea. You put a disclaimer (and we know you aren't trying to claim ownership of anything JKR wrote.) While the way you've written the story is your own style, the galaxy of fan fiction (particularly HP fic) is massively huge. I don't know. Whatever you do is fine. I enjoy your story. But to see you (or anyone) talking about someone else plagiarizing your FAN FICTION (emphasis on 'fan fiction') comes off as a little ridiculous. It's like a Madonna impersonator getting upset for another impersonator wearing the same outfits and singing the same songs in the same order.

I had to chuckle, you're perfectly right of course! It doesn't do to take oneself too seriously. But I still reserve the right to say "Hey! That's my story!" in situations like that. I wouldn't do anything about it, but the artist in me can't help but be miffed.
Enjoy the rest of this one.
