A realistic ending - though I still feel like ripping your head off. I hope Hermione rode off into the sunset, and no ridiculous endings like DMHG happened. She has much to explore - travelling the world for the next ten to thirty years might do her some good.
Arthur killing Voldemort was superb.

Okay, so I didn't see that coming. I am a 28 year old adult who has been sitting up all night reading this rather well written fic and...he dies!!!! And I am bawling! You've broken my heart!!!!!!!!!

this is quite possibly the most moving ending i've ever read. i'll admit, i wanted the happy ending but i'm a big sucker at heart and need to read about them in order to have faith in real life. i don't think it would have had the same impact though. this truly brought a tear to my eye and pulled at my heatstrings.
