The person on fanfiction.net claims to be posting with permission of the author. She emailed me in response to my review, though she seemed curiously flippant about it all.

As a writer I am disapointed to see that someone has stolen your story. I looked at the page you left the url to and I saw that it was your story. As a reader I\'m pissed at the person who did this because now there it no way to enjoy your story till they are kicked off the other site. I hope that this person is brought to justice soon that way we can all enjoy the genious of the original writers story.

The story is has been taken down, I have the author page up now, I can\'t beleive someone would do something like that. Gotta send him a nasty e-mail bye

I think that FFN already took it all down, as I can\'t find the author or the story. Looks like your fans have come through for you! Update soon! Love this story!

!!! ....I posted a complaint. I love this story and I though o! another chapter and then its this post about that! I can\'t believe they would just go and steel it and not even change it.....I hope this gets resolved soon. FF.net will hopefuly be prompt to respond

Hello! I went to FFN to report the story but it had already been taken down. People work fast. :) Anyway, I love your story and can\'t wait to read more. It is a shame that you had such an unpleasant experience on the net when I am sure that so many readers appreciate your hard work.

really makes me mad from a readers point of view because i loved this story
and more mad from a author (not a hp slash and or anything but music fanfic writer) point of view.! ugh!

I can\'t believe someone would be so low as to steal your story. Rest assured that, and I believe I can speak for many of your readers, we are incensed and I know I have sent out complaints.
Oh and by the way, I really really like your story and hope that that....person is punished soon and your story removed from FF.net so we can get more of it soon cause I\'ll be sad if the story stops *cries*
