That was a quick update! Made my day once again. :) Hee hee, loved the bidding war, and neither of them won, way to difuse the tension. Though it would be interesting to see what a date with Draco would be like. So happy Draco's finally making his move. Took him long enough. And as for the smuttiness of the next chapter - yay, I'm sure you'll do fine. I wanna see where this will go, and if it goes dark I'll still follow. This fic is to great not to read. ^.^

I for one beg to differ, for you are an excellent writer and extrememly talented in my eyes. I've been waiting for updates on all the Draco/Hermione stories I can't get enough of (they're the only fan fics I read) and was just perusing through stories I haven't taken a look at yet and might suit my fancy when I came across yours at the top of the list. And, seeing as how I've just stayed up till 3 in the morning so as to read all the chapters you've written in one, I'd say you've become my latest addiction.

Furthermore, I agree with you wholeheartedly that a truly good D/H story is not complete without a dark twist. All that lovey dovey stuff can be saved for other pairings. Usually the best stories are riddled with nothing but pain and passion and lust, and sometimes love, but you have somehow managed to include a decent amount of humor and witty banter as well. Plus the way you've led the story along is tantalisingly slow, but it's a good kind of torture, one where the story has a chance to unfold much like a well written novel. And with all these flashbacks to the war that are so short and unreadable (though I don't mean that literally) they're like breadcrumbs you've added a sense of mystery and suspense that I adore.

I eagerly await your next update if not for your deliciously long and thought consuming chapters, than for your disclaimers which amuse me to no end.

P.S. Rarely do I ever review a story unless it's really damn good, let alone spend half an hour doing so, and it's usually just to give a short compliment and demand that they update. So, in other words, I certainly hope you feel flattered.

No, I thought the geniuses were all very funny....and your description of Hermione in this chapter is also quite lovely. Looking forward to the rest of the story...

This is a wonderful story! I can't believe I just found it - I enjoyed reading it all in one go, and then I was so sad when I got to the end of the latest chapter. I really like the silly bits in your story, but I think that the dark parts make it worth reading - I enjoy silly fics, but they're not a satisfying as a story with good plot. And yours is very intriguing. Thanks for writing it!

yay! *hyperventilatng in happiness* wow, another (quick) update. happiness. can I say again just how much I love this freakin story? seriously. sadness though that you said the next update would take longer. *meep* This one was so, so good. I feel so bad for Hermione. She's looks so beautiful, but no one even noticed her. Curious. Not even her friends commented that she looked pretty. Odd. Oh god I would die if I had to be auctioned. Please say Blaise is there. (I like the sweet letter). Please. I'm glad though - it's not what I thought would happen. Why is Draco such a prat!! Argh! Thank you so much for clearing up that bit of confusion on my part. I guess my paranoia is running on overdrive...Also, a creative outlet (like updating the next chapter) would be an amazing source of relaxtion during your job search. Good luck with that!

You may not realise it, but there are three Simpsons refs in that chapter. Actually the first one isn't on your list. I recognised them right away.
