Hmm, i have seen kids wearing those braclets...well i'm assuming its the kinds you are describing..never knew there was a meaning behind them...just figured it was a fad like the thick plastic flat ones...or slap braclets :D

i really enjoyed this fic and i must say it was great for a rookie (i've read some reaaallly bad rookie stories). anyhow, the sex bracelet thing was creative and i too wish this weren't a one-shot :(

LOL I can see the need for an explanation about the bracelets, especially since this website is accessed worldwide. Trends in one country may not be in others. Americans and Canadians tend to forget this since their cultures intertwine in many different ways while remaining different.

The bracelets can be found at hottopic, if anyone still wants them.
BTW- the fad started at raves (at least out here) where they used them to communicate (it was either too loud or the guy (generally) was to influced by drugs or alcohol to string a sentance together (it then begs the question why any girl would fuck him, but thats besides the point))
anyways. loved the story *grins* as a candy kid, I love seeing these things in fics. they make them so amusing. you should write a follow up for some of the bracelt colors *hehehe*

so what is the symbolicness of the black bracelet, then? I dont think u mentioned it except in the first chappie where miones freind told her to never take it off. Great story, it made me wish i was hermione!!!
