oooooh, lots of review fodder in this chappie. *rubs hands gleefully.

poor harry, having to contain rage like that... it's going to come busting out sometime and i don't know if he'll be able to stop it. I can only hope his friends will have his back when it does cause it's bound to be horrific.

Still, if the mental calming exercises don't work, perhaps something to channel it into, like mental cursing [not just variations of the f word... thats so unimaginative and boring especially considering he's got all of tom's knowledge which i'm sure include several different languages. I mean, if a kid can go through the english alphabet and find a curse for each letter that doesn't involve profanity (done that too, it's fun especially if you make it a game between several kids)just imagine what har could do with several languages to draw from and he can dip into profanity... followed by imagining what he would like to do to each of the deserving... probably drawing on Tom's knowledge for that too. He can't do it yet, but just the idea of what he can unleash is occasionally comforting... sort of a 'you'll get yours, just wait for it' kind of thing. (though, i don't have anyone like that... there's no one i hate enough... har better watch that. hate can be as damaging if not more so to the hate y than the hated.)] after all, or angsty music that he can snarl along with. (i do that when i'm in pain. angsty music is wonderful for venting without venting... if that makes sense.)

moving on... okay, i've got a shadows Q. there are those that are tagging along with Draco yeah? if that's the case, how is it that they're un aware of Draco's 1/4 blood heritage or his snake killing adventures? Or that he's becoming aware of their game. Were they asleep or in stasis when he went home? Even so, shouldn't they be mentioning to har of draco and Xeo's new semi alliance? At any rate, if Xeo weren't already a dead critter walking, that little effort would have just sealed the deal on his final ticket. he's soooooooooooo very crispy critter in the making, mwhahaha.

You GO remi *waves a Mooney banner in the back ground. one problem with thinking like the wolf all the time is that you live to much in the now... you forget to think of the big pic, of consequences for actions, and thats going to cost dear Fen Fen and ultimately V through him, hard core. I'm soooooooooooo looking forward to remi taking that diseased 'tard out! Or crushing him into submission... either would be fun.

And so the seduction of the auror corps begins... it's a pity they're on the opposite side, since sturges and madam bones are seriously quality people... hopefully, the auror corpse and the dmle can be swayed or those two will be kept as figure heads or trainers or something. it's wasteful to throw away talent if you can bend it to your will, cause it doesn't just pop up anywhere.

this is the first time out that people will get a chance to see what the shadows can REALLY do. it's probably unsettling to them that all that power sits in one young mans hand... on the plus side at least Sturges is aware now that the Order isn't har's first priority, or allegiance.

V's probably going to be rather narked about this and his response/ retaliation should be very interesting.

I wonder what will be the trigger that har is ready to kill/ for his minions to kill on his behalf.

Oh another wonderful chapter! So the memory charms on Bella have fractured some, that's to be expected. I must say, Sevy is holding out longer then I'd expect; feeling the same as Lupin, if something seems to good to be true it probably is? Ah but he's suffered enough, so of course he should take the offer. Glad to seen an update, hope all is well for you.

now that's interesting. I hadn't even considered how cissa would have gotten into the black family. i wonder how long it will be before her and draco's heritage comes out. sigh, has luc always been this blind or is his vast superiority complex blocking his view.
poor sev. still, how's that going to work? I mean, the shadows said they couldn't do anything about har's phoenix so how do they plan to counter both sev's bird AND the dark mark? not to mention, how do they plan to winkle sev out of his teaching job and spy gig. he's struggling at being a double spy, i doubt he could pull a triple. would he become a shadow slave or a servant like siri only less powerful. And if he bails, won't dumbles get up in arms again? he wouldn't appreciate the shadows nicking his potions professor. I look forward to seeing how you;re going to make it work.

in-ter-es-TING! so THATS how you're going to save the vamps... some of them anyway. i assume Kisha and Xeo will be bumped off in due time and young as she is, once she's strong enough, as she's the Childe of both, she could take over. Especially as they have her blood as insurance and the will of her makers that she serve V.
I thought vampies were super careful about who they turned? or was this different cause she was a gift? I assume from your description that bella was wearing a disguise when she was play crazy cat lady and she is in fact young... or at least in this fic.

if rudi and rodi were dementor fodder, how did the dementors show the original bodies, or had those two not been twisted into dementor jr's yet? does being a dementor count as being alive?

Oh interesting indeed! How bad of her to have forgotten the 'Shadow Servant' so quickly; bad Auror! This was a good chapter, and it was a relief that she didn't know about Harry's torment. So the blood is Kisha's of a sense, and that will somehow come to her undoing by a blood ritual or spell of some sort? Yay for updating! I await the next chapter!

neh? is voldi giving the dementors the bodies of his failed D.E.s to dementor-affy or is keeping them for something else. I mean it sorta odd to keep rabi and rudi on hand so to speak cause you'd need someone to care for the bodies, which takes them away from other stuff they could be doing... that is, unless what ever is keeping the muggle prisoners ticking over while they;re locked in their own private hells, also works on wizards...

just adding another comment on bell bell from last chappie. she's one hard core, violet pure blood bitch, that's for sure and she makes for a most excellent attack dog. heaven forbid she should ever receive a creature bite since she's already creature violent, powerful and dangerous in her on rite.

shakes my head at madam bones. seriously, what was she thinking bringing that brain drain along. What a dingus. was she trying for a best and worst of what har would be working with or something? Is the plan of seducing them still on... if so maybe he can get that one 'accidentally' killed. >> a while back it mentioned that the head auror was a bloke... is he one down from madam bones?
It's a pity about madam bones as she seems a decent sort, the honourable enemy type. I hope she at least gets to go out blazing.

At any rate, i'm sure Siri will be utterly tickled to be re instated and i imagine he has a crap ton of back pay a waiting. speaking of siri... i wonder if he'll come across 'fire dragon'. he'll need to to get them on side yeah?

regarding gin, has the plan to mind bind her changed then?


the story he, V and the shadows are weaving is getting more believable as it develops...even tho it's changed from just having to see the 'renegade' shadows to having to touch them. can shadow 'fight' shadow?

will the dementors understand why har has to sacrifice some of them to keep his cover?

just had a random thought. if the shadows are hars darkness now, does that mean that the rage, pain etc that he feels from his abusive childhood doesn't count as darkness? or is it a case of it was there before they took ... or whatever it was they did, his darkness. they can't take the pain of those experiences from him?

will we get to see har's sev improved sword techniques any time soon? can he use a sword to direct his magical energy like he would a wand or staff?

i wonder what will happen if/when olli picks har for what he is... or at least what his animagus (can you call it that if he's not actually an animal?) for is. (do tenchi count as creatures?) also, what do they mean by pure wings, with the tenchi. do less powerful tenchi have mottled wings or something?

lol. 'darn it?' I would have thought a master vamp would swear... ah well, whatever. speaking of vamps. I know V is keeping Kisha busy but what does he plan to do with Arabella?

Erm. It's been six or seven years since I mostly gave up on this fic; thought it had been abandoned. And now I go once more to re-read it (just can't help it, I'm still addicted), thinking it will just end after some 30 chapters and I'll be as sad as always at the end of an unfinished fic - and there's *64* chapters?!
I think there'd be a very real danger of me hugging you to death were you here right now.
I'm absurdly happy about those new chapters. And the latest one just came in while I was reading, so I'm confident you'll stick with the story to the end, this time. I'm very, very much hoping it's true.
From the beginning, I've fallen for this fic and I still very much want to read more of it. I want to see what happens to Millicent, Blaise and Draco; where those basilisks are and if they can be rescued; what the Shadows' ultimate goals are (I'm still not convinced they told Harry everything). I wonder what role Ginny will play. I want to see Harry and Voldemort meeting again. *sighs* I wonder if you or your betas will at some point notice that a 'duel' is not spelled with an 'a'. (sorry, couldn't resist). There are some spelling or grammar issues, at some points the story has bits and pieces that I don't entirely like... but overall, it's still one of the most exciting and fascinating fics I've read. *bows to author*
