Very nice plot and character development in this second chapter. You can easily see Hermione railing at the circumstances, and then coming up smack against the brick wall of reality. That her dark knight in shining armor arrives to save the day was quite lovely... and the chemistry between them is delicious.

Aww now that was sweet. more more!

Wow.. A dozen versions huh? No matter what your worries are, this chapter turned out perfectly well! Some action, some drama (and crying), and some touching between Draco and Hermione. Good enough for me! =)
Although I have to question the logic of Hermione bringing her laptop to Hogwarts- only if you want to abide by canon rules, that is. As said in GoF, electronics don\'t work well within Hogwarts\' grounds because the magic in the air messes up electricity. But if you are choosing not to follow some of the books\' details, well your fic is to do with as you wish.
