I think it is a shame that you have had negative feedback. I have enjoyed the first part of this and you have me hooked to find out what Hermione is brewing and what will happen when she comes out of the dungeon. I really hope you post again soon. Unfortunately with this being fan-fiction, the review process is open to everyone, whether they have something constructive to say or not. Ignore all nasty comments - this is about what you write not who you are. As you said, if it was about you personally then you would be writing to become a public figure. I look forward to reading more of your stories.

I just found your story and I thoroughly enjoyed what you\'ve written so far. I didn\'t find your \"skipping around\" all that confusing, and I actually think it\'s a unique idea. I would get tired of it if everyone did it, but your idea is novel. I like it.

I would like to disagree with DawnEB though. I don\'t think posting is an invitation at all. I think posting should be considered a privilege by the reader. I am usually a reader, and with a really well-written story such as this one, I consider it an honor to be allowed to read it. I have actually yanked a story because of flames; I had a novel idea as well, different from yours, Prentice, but a unique idea all the same, and people didn\'t know how to appreciate it. They didn\'t flame me, but almost every single review included a complaint about the part of the story I felt most proud of, so I took it down. I figured that if they were unable to appreciate every aspect of my story, they weren\'t worthy of reading any of it. If that\'s high and mighty or self-important, so be it. Anyway, the point is that I can understand how you may be feeling, though I don\'t claim to know how you feel.

However, I hope you don\'t pull your story, as I find the whole concept fascinating and I\'m most interesting in unraveling the mysteries you\'ve presented us with. Thank you for posting this for us to enjoy!

Having read all of it to date, I must say this: don\'t let the flamers get you down. I have a few stories published on this site and not all reviews are good reviews. Some of them are downright crap reviews, only meant to break down your confidence in your own abilities. Now, I think it would be a crying shame if you abandoned this story outright. I don\'t know why everyone\'s having problems with a non-linear story. I think it makes the plot far more intriguing than if it started at point A and chugged along to point Z or wherever you may end up. The different POV\'s and also the diary entries are good devices to use and I am insanely curious to find out what it is that Hermione has dedicated herself to brewing. Please update this fic!

I have to say that your fic was very refreshing and orginal. Very unlike alot of the other garbage that is out there. It is sad to say, however, that apparently you felt the need to reach new heights of self-importance and use your work to post what amounts to no more than an overblown hissy fit.

I am sorry that you have had a taste of the bad, noisy, loud people that criticize without any intention of their criticism being constructive. I, for one, have been very intrigued by your story, and I hate to see it die a premature death. I think that the little grammatical errors that may have been in the writing have added a bit of realism to the tale. I feel like even Hermione, as intelligent as she is, might be one to \"let the rules go\" when she is scratching out a sentence in her own diary. I hope that you do finish this. I am very curious as to exactly what our heroine has created...
