I was actually glad to see the dancing arc of the story go, it was time for a change of scenery and having Draco now be a wanted fugitive will complicate things as well as give Hermione and him a chance to get to know each other better. I love the way you bring in new elements every chapter and never stray from the fact that this is a world where Voldemort has supreme power.

This is only the second or third time that I can remember being moved to actual tears by fanfic. The scene with Draco and his mother was so beautifully written. The shock of her dropping the mask was very moving, and when he was being tortured and mentally said goodbye to her- it was a twist of the knife. I have never been successful in creating these types of situations without pushing it past Melodrama, so I am both impressed and envious.
I think that what made it so powerful was how much respect I had for Draco\'s character throughout the entire chapter. He was so noble, but in such a subtle way that kept him from going OOC.

I like this more and more with every chapter I read... and, by the way, I love the summary too. Not quite sure why, but for some reason it just hit me. Anyway, thank you for another chapter. I really like this story!

OMG!!! This was such a great chapter (8). I really loved Draco and his mother\'s relationship. It was heartwrenching to think Draco was going to die. I also really liked the flashback and the fact that Draco and Hermione had some sort of connection in the past beyond just enemies. =D and of course the ending!!! It has me *DYING* for the next chapter so please please please update soon! <3<3<3

this story is just awesome. one of the best harry potter fanfics i have read so far. very good job, please never stop writing!
