So now the fun really starts.
Dude. Why didn\'t she just pull out her wand and yell \"me witch, me help\" instead of all that \"you don\'t understand\" blah blah blah.
That was nice of T-N-T to wait for her even if they were worried their parents would be angry AND probably didn\'t grasp the severity of the situation. Like me. What\'s going on? Death Eaters have just waltzed in and are actually killing people?
Now, what I DEFINITELY like about Laurel as opposed to Hermione is her reaction to Draco\'s punching Tad. That \"wow.\" That\'s good. That\'s what normal girls would do. For some reason, whenever I read similar situations in D/Hr fanfics, Hermione gets MAD at Draco for beeting someone up out of jealousy.
Hot kiss. How random. Draco certainly just takes what he wants...though...they have both made it perfectly clear that they want each other.

hurray! we\'re finally at my fav part of the stroy. i love this story so much and i am so happy you are going on with it. can\'t wait for the new cahpter, i hope you\'re working on it....looking at you with narrow eyes!

Glad to see you got to post this story somewhere. I do not understand FF.net. I swear they are becoming ridiculous on what stories they knock off the site. I think they look for the best stories with the most reviews and smirk evilly and take them off. They are going to start loosing people going to that site if they keep it up.
But at last, I am glad that you are still posting this story, it is so good and I am ready for the next new chapter to see what Lucius does to his son? Poor Draco, I also can\'t wait to see what other couples come together in the story.

Iv\'e just started to read stuff on this site ( owing to the fact im a draco nutt!) So i stumbled accross your story and thought i\'d give it a look at. That was earlier on this afternoon, sat on the patio. I\'m now in bed and am still reading it on my laptop, i cant put it down!!!!! Really good stuff, keep it going.

Hey! It\'s me again! Long time no hear! Well I must say that I\'m sadly not even CLOSE to catching up. So many horrible things seem to occur this past two weeks. First, I get the freaking CHICKEN POX! Like seriously, I\'m a grown woman! Grrr...Anyways, I have no choice but to suffer. Luckily I am on my last stage of this distressing time and as well as exams that I had to postpone will now have to be taken. Another GRRR! Gosh, life can be so awful. Anyways, I don\'t want to rant and bore you. I might be one of the slowest readers here, only on chapter 15, but I will catch up before this story is done. Hopefully.
I would like to say that you keep the characters, even Laurel, so realistic. I love that, I sometimes myself get carried away and forget characterization but enough of that. I\'m out for now. Take care, until next time.

Okay, wow...I was sooo damn determined to finish this lil ficlet, but the emotions are sooo damn spiral twisting! I just had to take a break to let you know that. :D I\'m almost there though. I just had to mention that Draco is the most funniest character. Maybe it\'s just me but I like sarcastic people, since I tend to be one myself. I due hope Draco forms alliance with Harry and we all live HAPPILY EVER AFTER...okay kidding. But still, something good should come this way for our poor *sarcastic* Draco :D. Back to Reading...

Chapter 18: AHHH! I can\'t believe this, wow...Draco is soo stressed out! Man, I feel like smacking Harry and putting a duck tape around Ron\'s mouth. Chapter 19: What a way to start a night! There\'s potential danger in the air and all the guys can do is dance! Okay, okay...so Draco is a lil sexoholic but still! Chapter 23, which serves to remind us just how bad those Death Eaters are! Why, they even have the nerve to interrupt the fabulous sexual tension going on between Harry and Laurel, and Draco and Laurel, and Draco and RahNee... whoops! Just fantasizing about pressing my hips against Draco like I wanted him...which I do. Since Harry is busy dancing...
Well, I love jealous Draco! Seething with jealousy, he still has the presence of mind to check out Laurel\'s body language and see that Harry doesn\'t affect her quite the way Draco does. I\'m glad he saw that before he killed Harry, because, well, not only would I miss Harry, but then there wouldn\'t be any thing for those poor Death Eaters to do, now would there? And a man who reads body language, and really tries to figure out how the girl is feeling...I want one of those!
I like the little scene Draco stages to get them off the dance floor. Being an actress myself (by avocation only, not professionally by any means), I appreciate the presence of mind and quick improvisation. The scene with Harry & Draco trying to figure out what to do with Laurel, then Laurel arguing with Draco was nice and well paced. I could not look away for a second! Very engrossing.
But the \"oh yeah\" moment for me was when Harry asks \"Are you with me or not?\" and Draco sees the line drawn in the sand and makes his choice. And they LOCK EYES and the moment of alliance I was waiting for happens! I loved this quote so much that I must repeat it here: \"For a moment they locked eyes, clear, fierce and intense, the emotions running between them, sending a silent understanding into their souls that said more than words ever could. In that instant an acceptance and a newfound loyalty was established between them.\" Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
Another favorite quote: \"Harry was dangerous when he lost control\" (Good thing I read it in context or my mind would have gone straight to the gutter with that one!) And then, in the midst of danger and mayhem, you dish out some quick witty repartee: \"I\'m just concerned about saving you and me at the moment.\" Draco snapped. \"Thanks a lot!\" Ron bellowed. \"URGH...YOU as in plural you IDIOT!!!\" Ha ha! Loved it.
So...Draco roughed up Tad, huh? And I thought he was scoping the place for danger...But better Tad than Harry, I say! And now Laurel knows the extent to which Draco will go to protect her. And Miss Laurel is one powerful girl! I can\'t wait to see the expressions on Draco\'s and Harry\'s faces when they realize that she is a witch and a damned powerful one at that.
*claps hands and jumps up and down excitedly* Ohhhh, Lorett, I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to collaborate with you! That would be SO FREAKING AWESOME! *runs around in a dither until she smacks into the door jamb of the office...makes mental note to install French doors now that half the wall is knocked away!* I can\'t believe you\'d like to join forces with li\'l ol\' me! *blushes* But, if it is as you say, and we were separated at birth, well then it is inevitable. So...which one is the proverbial evil twin? I know *snaps fingers* we can take turns! Hee hee!
Okay...about the 2-furs, or lack thereof...I think I may be able to handle it. IF the chapters ARE going to get as long as you say. (I had to do some deep breathing techniques to get through those last sentences!) It would be very un-IFOLFA-esque of me if I did not inquire as to when one might expect one of these aforementioned LONG chappies, hmmm? And I should warn you that Impatient Fans Of Lorett\'s Fanfics Anonymous (IFOLFA) is starting a serious scrutiny into the apparant lack of posting of a new chapter for \"It Had to Be You\" NOT that I am being impatient, mind you, oh no no, not me. I am the picture of patience. Just sitting here, patient as can be... yep. Patiently sitting. Uh huh. That\'s me.............................
