I have just re-read this - now that the site is up and running properly- and just love it! I have noticed that it has been a while since this was updated. Has this been put on hold or is it posted at any other sites? I hope this has not been placed on hold, as Phaelan is one of my favorite characters- indeed the best OC character - I have seen in many a fanfic. I would appreciate it ifyou could let me know when this is updated. In the meantime, keep up the great work and please, please please, update soonest!

I just wanted to say that I love your stories. you have a deliciously wicked imagination when it comes to our dear Severus, yet at the same time temper him with reality. I think it humanizes him makes him more live if you know what I mean...
Only one thing I'm asking.....Please, please, please please, PLEASE Continue with this story soon..I hit the end of chapter 55 and loudly exclaimed "Ahhh, Where's the rest of it!?" Must say I scared the wits out of my mother and my dogs doing it ~e.g.~
Anyway I hope you add more to this soon, I am mighty curious where you're going with this.

I've reread from the first chapter now that affn seems stable, and I'm glad I did. What a twist to find out that Phaelan was a "magical creature" that is bred to be a live "powerstone"/amplifier (powerstone is a source of magical energy storage, and can be used to amplifly spells). For a bit there I was thinking that she might have been a Djinn of some type till I saw what she really was. What a plot twist.

I hope that Minerva remembers that prophecy at the beginning of the story and puts it all together, or that it gets revealed in time to save Phaelan from Trelawney's prophecy that can be read from several angles. :)

I hope our lady will not be too devastated for too long by this new information. It seems to me that Severus is as much a slave to her as she to him. I had imagined she had some powers and had never thought of such a being. More story please.

I'm so happy to find this story again! I had to reread the whole thing so I wouldn't forget the important stuff. I am looking forward to finding out what Phelan may be other than a Muggle military officer. More story please.

The problem with reading fanfic at 1AM, when you find a recipe at the end of the fic and want to try it, the liquor stores are all closed. Great job. I remember that scene in Schindler's list. The next year, we had to play the theme from the violin solo in band, which was really hard for those of us who saw the film. Loved Snape in McDonalds!
